Official Rules
1. Drivers must be 16 years old or have parental consent.
2. The decision of the judges will be final.
3. Anyone caught tampering with someone else's equipment will be disqualified from all future pulls.
4. Flagmen have the right to stop any pull for dangerous action by the driver.
5. Driver must remain seated, except for tractors that were designed to be operated from a standing position, and the driver must have at least one hand on the steering wheel at all times.
6. First puller in each class has the option to take the first pull or to pull over. They must decide before unhooking from the sled.
7. Driver may pull over if the tractor is stopped for 40 feet.
8. The pull is over when the forward motion of the sled is stops. NO SHIFTING
9. All pulls start with a tight chain.
10. All hitches will be done from the drawbar and will be done with a pulling eye. NO TRAILER BALLS OR VERTICAL PINS.
11. Front weights will not to exceed more than 11 feet from the center of rear axle. ALL CLASSES. NO ALTERED WHEEL BASE.
12. Wheelie bars are mandatory except on the farmers and plow classes.
13. Rim width 16 inches, EXCEPT IN OPEN CLASSES, which are unlimited.
14. Tire sizes: Farmers and Combined 16.9 x 38 ( except 6500# & 7500# 18.4 x 38 ) Open: 18.4 x 38. NO CUT TIRES IN THE FARMER'S CLASSES.
15. Drawbar is not to exceed 20 inches in height or be less than 18 inches from the center of the axle to hooking point.
16. R.P.M. not to exceed 20% over high idle.
17. Cut tires will be allowed in all classes except the farmers.
18. Speed Limits: Farmers - 3.5 mph; Combined - 5 mph; Open - No limit. Any gear may be used in all classes.
19. Gasoline fuel only. NO TURBOS OR NITROUS OXIDE. NO DIESELS. NO ALCOHOL.
20. All rules will be interpreted by the judges. Any unforeseen problems or oversights will be ruled on by the judges with their decision being final.
